Thank you gods of electronics!

Yay! So I'm back in Swansea (okay, well have been for a week now) and after a brutal battle with an exploded jar on honey, my camera cord finally works again and I can finally upload some pictures!!! I have a ton, so here's the plan: today I'm just uploading pictures from all around the trip, but then I'll go post by post for all the places we visited! (well, I'll combine some but...)

Here's a certain someone at the Holocaust memorial in Berlin
then to gorgeous Salzburg
then the beer halls of Munich! (okay, this one's actually a mall strangely enough but...)
and hey, it's the Colosseum!and the, um... city full of character (and cars and mopeds and buses all of which, again strangely enough, seem to have escaped this photo), Naples!but Pompeii was fantastic! And hey, here were some milling stones I learned about in my Ancient Technology class just a few weeks before! who knew?Ooooh, and then there was France! (the water was freezing but gosh darn it I was determined!)And then on to supposed to be (but not) so sunny Barcelona! And finally onto... wait, what the heck, warm AND sunny Amsterdam? Amsterdam?! (no no really, it was!)
And then after a little bump in our final destination, it was back home to Swansea! ...and school papers... and exams... and presentations... and drunk students stumbling home at night...

hm... it's been a while

hi all! It's been a while hasn't it? well, I'm still alive and kicking in the, well, currently rainy wet beaches of Barcelona! Man, I wish I could update you guys with some pictures but unfortunately you can't upload any pictures via msds, so that'll have to wait until I get back!

But let's see, so where did I leave off? Rome I think? that was cool, we did the coloseum, forum, paladin hill, and all your typical tourist stuff. Then we hit Naples which was, well, let's just say it had its charm. Luckily we only toured the city for a day before jutting off to Pompei which was AMAZING!!! you were allowed to walk around the entire ruined city which was huge! We were lucky and evaded the rain for the first time since that start of the trip and had a gorgeous sunny day before heading off to southern France, and oh my was that beautiful! By far my favorite place so far, we stayed in Nice and took a day trip to Monte Carlo where the water was crystal clear blue... but freazing cold. But that certainly didn't stop me from spending a couple hours in the water before being dragged out by my travel buddies. But for now, we'll see what Barcelona has to offer!!
